| Introduction
In October 2007 the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released the Let’s not waste our
future Queensland Waste Strategy Discussion Paper. The Discussion Paper canvassed opinions
and ideas on:
• key waste management and resource recovery issues
• current efforts to reduce waste generation and optimise resource recovery
• options for action, change and innovation.
This report summarises the 90 written responses received during the public consultation from
October to 21 December 2007.
